Mobile platforms continue to grow at an amazing rate, with millions of iOS and Android devices now on the market. With this tremendous growth, a number of companies and independent developers have started creating mobile websites and apps built exclusively for these devices.

But designing for a small touch screen device is a lot different than designing a regular website. Website elements such as hover states and precise mouse clicks don’t exist, and you need to rethink how users navigate by utilizing touch gestures such as pinching and swiping.
