About Me

Hi, I’m John Gilfillan – an Interactive Designer from Calgary, Alberta. I’m currently working full-time as a Web Designer at Bryan Mills Iradesso and using my spare time to freelance. In the past I’ve worked as the senior designer for LIFE.com, and as the lead designer at Clickspace Interactive. My passion lies in web design – with a strong interest in mobile and app design.

I’ve always believed that design isn’t about creating a pretty picture – it’s about finding a solution to a problem. My goal when designing is simple: discover the problems facing my clients and use focus, passion, and a little bit of magic to solve them.
